So, i have an old 1979 Chrysler 105hp Serial # 1059BD. And had to replace #2 and #4 coils. before doing so i had checked that i had spark on #1 & #3 and it was firing fine. After replacing the coils, i had nothing. After talking to the mechanic, he is saying its the Capacitor Discharge. And his test confirmed that. So my question is, Does anyone know where i can get ahold of one, New or refurbished? Or a replacement for it?
Thanks Everyone

Sounds like you have the MAG II ignition system. If so, the replacement from CDI electronics is discontinued.
Try Franzmarine.com, he may have used CD modules for MAG II, I know he has made a "testrig" from and powerhead for MAG II because I was a MAG II customer and he offered a used CD module.

Are there two black boxes mounted on the side of the engine along with the coils? In so, this is a Prestolite ignition and sometimes CD boxes come up for sale on ebay. Otherwise, CDI has them but new, they are a bit pricey.

If everything except the coils is mounted under the flywheel and the coils are mounted on the head, It is Magna-Power II and basically, you are screwed.
