Hey guys just found this forum and its great. I just bought my first boat, a 16ft aluminium fishing boat with johnson 70 hp. This boat has been sitting for a year due to a death but ran fine before sitting. Other then draining the gas tanks and making sure batteries are good I dont know where to start as far as getting this thing running. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. I have never worked on boats but have some mechanical aptitude and tools and would like to do most of the work myself. Thanks.
