1981 lower unit unremoveable

well tried every thing to drop lower unit
i am going to cut lower unit off and pull power head
hoping that shaft will come out power head is in great shape 150 evinrude a crossflow is there any way to pick up power head without crank bolt
tool and are there any tricks any one knows once i have power head
to get shaft to loosen also can heat be applied to power head bolts
to loosen them when i remove

Saltwater motor I'll bet. If you can get the driveshaft a smidge cockeyed to the crankshaft and rotate the flywheel, that might break the splines free.

thanks will i be able to apply heat to power head bolts if i have to remove it
