1981 V6 same as '82?

My engine is J235TLCNE (1982). I have found a shop manual that covers, what appears to be all OMC V-6's from 1981 including J235TLCIH and J235TLCIB. Would this manual be useful to me?

yup<br />not much difference if any<br />I used my neighbors 98 manual for my 95 V6 for years. Bought a 95 on ebay only to find out pretty much the same info.<br />Good luck
