I’m having some problems here with this motor. First I was missing spark on one cylinder, changed one of the switch boxes and now I have spark on all six.
Motor starts fine and idle ok. But when I rev the motor It starts to miss fire. I lose spark, Iknow cause I have the strobe light connected, and when engine start to run bad the light stops blinking. Must be the stator I thought, the high speed coils are bad. Changed the stator, but it made no difference. Runs bad on higher rpm.
I noticed a strange thing, the blue and blue/white cables from stator should read DVA 180V or more, I have 275V so I guess that is ok. Red and red/white should read 20V or more. Here I have 240V, isn’t that I bit high?
