1983 260 Rotor change

Anybody have a trick for taking the rotor off the distributor assembly that has been on for an awfully long time? 1983 260hp MCM.

top jaw of a channel lock pliers under the rotor and levered on the distributor housing usually works for me

Ayuh,..... Ya gotta Bust it off,...... For some reason, they get glued on,.....

Got ya, I tried a bit of force, just didn't want to hurt anything. So just pry it off. Got it.

usually use a channel locks and squeeze until it cracks in half
