Doubt it, such stain marks have never bothered me. Youve got 125 psi thats a lot of performance.
You should, using light wet sandpaper, shave the head flat on a piece of glass while you have it off, clean the threads and always use a new gasket

I have new gaskets for the heads. I'll do what you said. Hopefully I will have it all put together and started today. I'll post back on the results.

Good luck, im on a date to jurassic park but will catch up on this later for sure
If it is still running bad at idle try pushing in the choke to see if that temporarily fixes it

Got it put back together. Seems to Idle fine. Starts right up. Only thing is the left side of the engine is running hotter that right side. Is this normal?

Also what's the deal with all this brown foamy junk coming out of the exhaust?

depends how much hotter as to whether thats normal, a little bits normal

No idea what brown foamy junk is but sea foam loosens all the goo in the exhaust so it may be that
