I know the first thing I need to do is get a manual, but while I'm waiting for it to come in the mail, I wanna get started. First off, none of the cylinders have spark. On the advice of a buddy who is a tech, I have disconnected the main engine connector to remove the key switch and safety switch out of the circut. Then jumped the solenoid, and no spark anywhere. I next checked the stator for resistance and grounding. All seems ok there. I wanna check the sensor coil next, but don't know which pins I should use. Can someone direct me to this test procedure?

I got a manual today and checked the sensor coil. Looks like its bad. But is a reading of 71 ohms instead of 40 enough to cause no spark?
