1985 Johnson 60Hp won't keep running

I've got an 1985 Johnson 60Hp VRO that used to run great. I have been trying to get it started this spring and it will fire up, but will not keep running. It will only run if you keep hitting the primer, wont settle down to an idle, just dies. I have replaced the portable tank, hose and bulb, and fuel filter to the motor, but still will start but not idle or run.

Sounds like dirty carb's. Clean, and install kit's. Start with a compression test first.

Do you suppose the Fogging Oil I put in last year still isnt blown out completely, even though I have done things exactly as the year before. It dosent seem to keep fuel in the see thru fuel filter.
