Had quite a few issues with this motor over the last year and if anyone can offer any opinion it would be greatly appreciated....<br /><br />1. Powerhead was rebuilt last year and only recently serviced. However even now after lengthy running for say an hour, if I pull it back to idling speed, in or out of gear, it will stall. Usually it will restart but won't like idling. Idling speed is set slightly above normal too. Fuel tank is a metal one up under the bow and motor runs on premix 50:1<br /><br />2. Powertrim creeps down when engine is under load. Ram is powerfull enough to trim the motor back up even at full throttle, but will gradually creep down again. Would this be a fluid, seals or pump problems?<br /><br />3. Went to use the boat last night, turned the key and motor turned over, but wasn't keen on firing. After a few seconds I turned the key back and pulled it out the motor continued to turnover until after not very long the battery died. we fitted a new battery but without the key the motor would turn over as soon as contact was made with the terminals. Does this suggest the ignition in the remote is knackered?<br /><br />when it's running it's great, trouble is, it often isn't!.<br /><br />As a matter of general care, are there fuel additives I should be periodically putting through system to keep everything clean?<br /><br />Thanks.
