1986 120hp johnson

Hello;
I purchased 1986 120hp johnson, with vro removed ,with electric fuel pump wired in.
Do you know if there is a way to wire the fuel pump, to energize only if the engine is running.
Currently the pump run with key in run position.

If it was my motor I'd get rid of it as it is now a fire hazard the way it is.

Outboard fuel pumps operated by crankcase pressure pulses are very simple and very reliable.----No idea why folks want to install electric pumps !
