1986 25 hp gas leak

Hi all <br /> I have a 1986 2 cyl 25 hp it rus great and start with 1 pull,but it is leaking gas from the top plate of the lower carburator.It also has been sitting for a few years ,but is in like new condition. thanks for any help Jd

Hi there, needle and seat probably stuck open, in other words carburetor float is stuck down and flooding carburetor. try tapping float bowl with screw driver handle, if that doesn't work remove float bowl and clean needle and seat, easy.

Did this work? <br />I just rebuilt my 1986 25hp carburator and when I pump up the bulb it shoot gas out the top of the carb. How did you fix your problem?
