1986 40 hp johnson wont start

Hey I put the motor away for winter and was running fine....battery is charged and put oil in cylinders......turns over but when starter engages magneto it turns very slow. any ideas??

Have a load test done on the battery and check all connections especially those of the starter and solonoid.

I tried 2 other batteries that were full charged and checked all connections....same results as before.....anything else come to mind guys??

could be bad ground, probably the brushes in the starter are stuck and not making contact.<br />my experience with starters are that they are tough to get back together right. good luck!
