1986 50hp Evinrude wont spark

I am currently trying to get an old 50 Evinrude to work. It turns over fine, but there is no spark from the plugs. Can anyone offer any advice to help me get it working. I am by no means a mechanic, but Im hoping if its something fairly simple I should be able to cope!

plugs, coils, power pack, stator,, just to name a few. you need and OEM manual to trouble shoot that one.

go to the engine faq forum( top of this page boating forums then engine faq) many good post there to help you. engine won't start, no spark
