1986 60hp evinrude fuel pump

i have a 86 evinrude 60hp . the fuel pump is the one with the two stems well i took it off clean it up well before taken it apart i took and blew thur the lines and the line going in the pump and out to the carbs was fine well then i blew thur the next line that runs to the intake well i tryed to and i could not blow or suck thur it at can i just replace it with a one stem pump and plug off the stem coming off the intake.

as far as i know you can't. The pump is fed from the tank through the pump to the carbs and then your other "stem" is connected to the lower part of the powerhead which creates a pulse which feeds the fuel through to the carbs using the upwards and downwards strokes of the piston.

I may be wrong so am open for correction.

Open up the pump and see if you can spot any sort of a blockage there.
