Well have had some issues with my motor for awhile now. Could get it to start ok, compression good, has good spark, but get it out on the lake in gear it would want to die when i gave it throttle. So I go over to buddies, who is like a professional outboard mechanic, we check it out, switch out a fuel pump and take it out on lake. Sure enough boggs down with throttle, Im like saying see what it does. he plays around with throttle and sure enough he admits something is wrong. He goes to back of boat looks at gas tank, kinda shakes it, squeezes fuel ball, hears this air sucking noise. We quickly discover that I have been low or almost out of gas this whole time. We get the gas tank arranged so fuel will go into motor and boat takes off like a champ. I thought i had like a half tank, guess i will stay a cadet on this forum.
