When it idles its sounds great when i put it in gear it sounds great but when i put controls wot engine tries. To accelerate. But cant it flounders and dies but starts right back up when i put it in neutral it starts rightat back ran great july4th i switched fuel tanks got across lake it died would try to restart but wouldnt changed tanks/fuel/fuel filter/plugs/and removed carbs and cleaned water out but they had no debris in them put
back on ran great on muffs but could not run wot. Took to lake today and now this problem. I also forgot to say that I added Sea Foam to the tank. It has a clear fuel filter and noticed when wot engine is running a little.over idle the fuel filter looks close to empty. Noticed I could squeeze bulb on fuel line.and it would.not change the sound of the engine. At times I have noticed the bulb on the fuel tank is as hard as a rock.to.squeeze. I know this is a lot but any help.would be appreciated. I am new to.two cycle engines.

Since the fuel filter seems to ran out of fuel (should stay at least 1/2~3/4 full even at WOT) I would start looking for the following:
1. Leaks in the fuel lines
2. Proper venting for the tank or blockage in the pick up tube or fuel line
3. Bad primer bulb check valve
4. Fuel diaphragm

Is the problem also present when slowly going from idle to WOT?

If the filter is before the pump,it can look like it's empty. It's being sucked out of the filter.
After the pump it should be full or real close to full cause the pump is filling it as it runs.
So put the filter between the pump and carbs.
The fuel line, remove any inline connectors, they can leak and suck air.
Rebuild the fuel pump.
After initial starting the bulb shouldn't be real hard. It's only job is to pull fuel to the carbs for the initial start.
If it stays hard then replace as the one way valve could be bad.
Clean the carbs making sure the jets are clear.
Tank vent open and clear??

Compresion/spark test??
Soft and mushy hoses?
Plugs burning right?
