Hey guys, I'n new to this. I just recently purchased a boat with a DT85 on it. It runs great with muffs on. It is veryhard to start in the early cold (i use the boat for duck hunting in Utah) mornings. Once started and warm it runs like a top. After throttling down it would sputter and eventualy die. Restart and throttle up lots of sputtering and dying, unless I bump the choke a few times then it will pick right up and go. I did put new fuel fitting all around, also a new gas tank, and line w/bulb. The boat came from Florida. Could jetting be the problem? Also with there is some slack in the trim adjustment. When I lower the motor and stop it continues to drop. could this be a fluid problem? Can and how do you add hydrolic fluid?
Thanks for your help
