1987 88 SPL Lower unit lowering

Hey I'm doing my water pump no problem so far, but by trim tab there are 2 bolts one kinda small (part66) and a bigger (part63) I doesn't say anything about removeing these on the link provided from earlier post, but that engine is a 1985 the guy is working on. do I or don't I have to remove these additional bolts? I already removed the trim tab bolt and the one underneath and also 3 bolts holding lowerer unit. the last one is just hand tighten so it doesn't fall off.I broke the seal(Paint) it definetly seems 1 bolt is still holding. Any help? yes I unhooked gear linkage!!!!

It's now late afternoon and I feel sure that you've had the lower unit off by now. However......

You have 4 side bolts, 1 trim tab bolt, 1 under the trim tab, and 1 large bolt in front of the trim tab.

There is no need to remove the anode retaining bolt if it exists.
