Sorry for the long post but I think the info is needed.
1987 Suzuki 175 hp.
I rebuilt the engine in 2004 replacing 2 pistons and salvaged crank.( no I did'nt spend a lot of money to fix this old engine )
Once running I only used it several times and just to fine tune.
The last time I went to use it I noticed a small hole in the crank case near top carb. To condense this story I replaced the crank case with one I had from a Super-Six 150.
Since replacing the crank case the engine seems to runnig on 2 or 3 cyllinders. I have replace plugs to eliminate the obvious, compression test is good, diconnected all bullet connectors and reconnected to verify, checked and reconnected all grounds.I do notice 4 of the six spark plugs seem to be dry and as shiny as out of package new. The 2 that are firing the hardest look like I would expect a plug to look after burning fuel. I guess what I really need are some good ignition and CDI test procedure that I can do with a standard Fluke digital ohm meter. ( yes I do have a Clymer repair manual but looking for advice from a surnuff mechanic. I have plenty more info I could post but I think it might be easier to respond to questions.

Thanks in advance
