I was given this boat three years ago and have slowly been rebuilding it. First thing was to strip trailer , sandblast sealer prime and paint. Replaced axle bearings, tires rims and lights. Boat hasn’t been in the water since 2005, only fresh water. Interior was all junk with rotten floor to boot. Motor looked good and turned over. I immediately put mystery oil in the cylinders. Removed lower unit and cleaned out the rodent nests and installed new water pump. New thermostat, alternator, power steering pump, plugs , wires points. Sent carb out to be rebuilt, cleaned fuel tank, hoses and filters. New battery. Replaced floor boards and reinstalled fuel tank. Started 3.0l Mercruser motor and runs good, had some shifting issues but have that worked out. Working on upholstery now almost done. Hoping to register it this week I have photos but don’t see a way to load them from my phone. Once engine cover is completed, upholstery will be finished. Boat is looking really good.

the last thing to rot after the stringers and transom is the floor.

did you also replace the stringers and transom, and remove the wet foam?
