well i have no idea what lean sneeze is. Being turning wrenches every since i could walk and never heard the term? and we checked the gauge. Its spot on.
So we have fixed it finally. The engine was never lean sneezing but the carbs were off some. Some had been turned up rich and some had been turned down lean. We have them all adjusted and it runs fine. Also the blooping noise i was hearing is normal. The prop change also changed the sound of the exhaust so i was hearing differently than what i was used to.
Well I'm letting everyone know that is what fixed it idling high. The choke in it will stay energized if it wore out and the contacts are touching all the time.
If anyone else finds this and has the same problem. It turns out it was not the engine. It was the fuel tanks in the boat. They still had the check ball pick up tubes in them and was limiting the fuel intake to the pumps. We removed the check balls and it feeds fuel fine now.
