1987 Yahmaha 150 HP outboard injection oil transfer problem

I have a 1987 150 hp yamaha and when the oil transfer pump comes on to transfer oil from the remote tank to the tank on the engine it will not shut off overflowing the engines tank??? any suggestions.

check the engine tank switch, white to black should show continuity when the float is up. once the brown wire to black closes the pump wont turn off until the switch gives the oil control module a ground signal from the white wire.
the float is a 3 position switch, all the way up white is grounded,midway down brown is grounded, all the way down and red is grounded and you get RPM reduction and an audible.

I had someone check this out for me and they said it checked out o.k do you suggest changing the control module??

a difinitive test is to unplug the engine tank, turn the key on. jump the brown harness wire to ground, pump should now run, to shut the pump off jump the white harness wire to ground. pump should now shut off.
if it wont suspect the controler, if it will keep looking at the tank switch.
