1988-1992 Powerpack Identification Question

I have what appears to be an OEM 1988-1992 Evinrude power pack. It is identical to the power pack that I removed, but I cannot cross reference the part number.
On the underside of the powerpack is printed 586662 CD6AL/67

I've checked two different sources, Evinrude, and CDI and did not see that number in the cross reference list of part numbers.
I've also checked the part numbers for newer model years 1993-1995 and it's none of those. I think there are some physical differences for the newer years anyway.

Can anyone identify it?

You may have misread the part number-the last digit may be a 7. 586667. That is a valid Bombardier power pack of the description you mention. While it does not match any of the original part numbers from original parts lists, it is possible it is a superceded part number. Contact your dealer for add'l information.

The last number is definitely 2. It is clearly marked. 586662
Maybe it was misprinted. It is not listed as an equivalent (superceded) number for any of the model years that use that style power pack.

That should be a looper pack with 6700 rpm limiter, ring terminal style power coil.

I'm not sure what you mean by ring terminal style power coil. Are you referring to the two orange and orange/blk wires with ring lugs crimped on them?
As I mentioned, It is identical in every way to what was removed, I just can't find that number anywhere.

Thanks.
