1988 50 force (Curcit breaker)

My curcit breaker that is located by the silinoid, what would couse it to trip?
The little plasitic slide was out, I pushed it back in to reset the breaker and now I have no spark,
what could the problem be now. thanks

That should have nothing to do with spark.You sure it reset?
Test light?
Profile?You might be close to someone who can help.
