when my boat sits for more than 2 weeks it is hard to start once it does start it smokes really bad. for some reason the carbs are full of oil and no gas. when I store it I leave the fuel line connected it still has MRO on it what i dont under stand is how so much oil gets in the carbs. once after the winter i pulled the carbs off and found the bowels full of pure oil

gasoline evaporates, leaving the oil behind.

but the bowls hold, what a few ounces of fuel? so whatever oil is left gets diluted by the fresh gas that you pump in with the primer bulb.

so, when you say "full of pure oil", do you mean literally "full"?
