This forum is new to me and was unsure that the comment I made on another posting would be reviewed so I posted it under my name. Engine runs great on water belt but when it is put in the water and the prop has a load it will not build up RPMs and will even die out. I have had the carbs rebuilt (new parts installed by a mechanic), new fuel tank and line, also new connections. Still doing the same. I am now looking at the CDI. Found very low voltages from CDI to coils. Also after performing the 4 test in the manual I found all voltages are very low. Found out the price of a new CDI is $610 so did not want to start changing parts. Could it be something wrong with the mag?
