I'VE READ OTHER REVIEWS BUT NOT MY HORSE POWER<br />JUST GOT THIS BOAT AND DELT WITH 50 TO 1 MIXTURES<br />BEFORE.I WANT TO DISSABLE THE VRO PUMP, NEED SOME<br />DIRECTIONS ON HOW? AND IN DOING THIS WILL THE GAS SIDE OF THE PUMP WORK PROPERLY?

The gas side will work fine without the oil side connected. Disconnect oil line at pump, cover nipple with rubber boot from dealer or discount auto parts, same boot used to plug vacumn lines. Locate wiring harness at pump, disconnect harness connector, cover harness with boot from dealer or tape. Disconnect 2 wires from engine that lead to remote oil tank, cover or tape the tan wire. 50-1 in fuel tank.

I have a 1999 225 Johnson and just want to make sure I understand the disconnecting of the wiring. I need to disconnect or unplug the black and tan wire from the oil tank and VRO, also I will need to unplug the four wire connector with the 4 colors and cap that off. Now for the sealing of the line from the VRO just cap it to prevent air leakage and the VRO/Fuel pump should operate properly?
