1988 johnson 70 Gasket Sealeant question

My question is do i use sealant on the gasket goes between reeds and plate carbs bolt on to i have seloc manual but i cant find it in there im not talking about carb gaskets its the gasket on plate behind carbsmaybe its called intake plate

Do not use anything other than oil on any gaskets related to the engine's fuel system. Sealant will easily clog the passageways.
