I have a 1988 Larson 250 Delta Cruiser and I'm having a real tough time selling it for anywhere near it's worth so I'm considering parting it out. Is this something that is done?
I've got so many new parts that I hate to give the boat away for the offers I'm getting.

I was told today that the trailer is worth $6,000 and I've been offered $6,500 for boat and trailer.

You need to be patient...... we are at the end of the season..... and you will get better money early in the season.

Parting it out or splitting it up may not be a good idea.

What's wrong with it? What power's it?

I'm a fan of the Larson Delta Conic boats...

Number one, your trailer is probably NOT "worth" $6000. You can buy used, 25' boat trailers all day for $1000-2000.

Number two, I'm not sure of the condition, power, etc... but $6500 seems like a very good deal on your part? There are a couple of Larsons near me for sale, and they all seem to be around that price, or even lower. I picked up my 29' similar year boat for around that number... to give you an idea.

Number three, parting out a $1000-1500 boat makes sense, parting out a boat you have been offered $6500 for, most likely will end up with you losing money.
