When underway, my engine bogs down on the power. Sometimes it's fine and others it just feels like it's not firing on all cylinders. I just came back from the boat and noticed a kink in my fuel line. Will this cause a significant loss in power from time to time? I'm going to cut and refit that part of the line and test it tomorrow. I replaced my old engine because of this problem and now I still have the problem. Anyone ever run into this problem with the fuel line?

its possible. its also possible you need to purchase the factory service manual and a marine technical guide that shows how to test the fuel system for proper vacum on the suction side of the fuel pumps.<br /> the test equipment is cheap. you can also run it off a remote tank to eliminate the hull system.
