Like the title says I have an '89 85hp Force and the trim/tilt bleeds down. This has become very annoying. I have done a lot of searching and found this old thread.

http://forums.iboats.com/force-chry...-tilt-trim-pictures-updated-fixed-463790.html

From what I understand the valve body in that thread should be the same as the one I have. In that thread the OP lists 2 part numbers and says they are the o rings you need to order, but when I look up those part number they show to be needle and seat kits.

Is the main problem with the bleed down in the bottom part of the valve body with the parts held in by the c clips? If so do I just need to find o rings to replace the old ones or is there more to it than that? What is the best way to get these parts out without damaging them?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Profile location? You might be close to someone who can help.
Fellow on here called RRitt he specializes in the T/T systems.
He can direct you to the right places to buy parts.
He also fixes them.
In the manual there is a leakdown test.
It's possible the tilt cylinder is bad(not likely)but possible.
