One piece, made of wood. I will be starting the seat bases/structure over Christmas....So unfortunately I cant send you any pix yet. Check out GT1000000 thread, a very good/inexpensive way is to mock up what you are imagining in card board...... once you get what you want, you have templates.... he did an outstanding job fabricating his helm.
