1989 Bayliner 1950 with 120HP OMC L-drive

Fill me in on the L-drive 120HP. The boat I'm looking at is clean for the price and similar to another bayliner from that era I owned that had a OMC 5.0L I/O that was a good boat. But that L-drive? So its basically a 120HP outboard with the power head concealed? were these problems? were they reliable? Can they be repaired? Are parts available? I appreciate the the advice/help?

It's a Chrysler/ Force motor, 'n drive,...
