So as title states I've got low/lost compression in one of my cylinders. I bought a boat and this motor came on it for free, owner said it died out on him and he couldn't get it going again. He had a scope into it and was told the cylinders were shot. So I dove into it and found the fuel bowls full of oil, so I cleaned them out. Next, all the water lines were packed up with sand and crud, so I cleaned themy all out. Also, had to clean off powerpack ground since it ended up loosing spark too. After all that was done it fired up and ran pretty good I feel. Had no weird noises, fluttering/missing sounds. So I did a compression test and I found them to be 90,45,90-90,90,90. So I ran some seafoam through to see if maybe it was a carbon build up and the one with 45 dropped down to 0 and wouldn't even hold pressure on the gauge. So I pulled the head to check for scoring and the pictures is what I found. Figure the rings went bad on piston from overheating from previous owner since of all the clogged lines. Think I can get away with honing, should I rebore, or can these be resleevedone or is the sleeve cast in? Thanks

Ring locating pin migrated out allowing ring to rotate and hang in port and break. This is from the overheat and ALL pistons will need changed as the others will soon suffer the same fate. You can bore that engine up to .040 oversize and use a cast piston only.

Think it's too far gone to just hone? If had to bore would I be alright to just bore one and leave others stock size, or must bore all if boring one? Thanks

You can bore just 1 cylinder if needed..You need to mike all cylinders for out of round as the open deck blocks wear at a taper and then this would require boring all oversize. If you can fell the grooves in cylinder with fingernail it needs bored.
