1989 Force 125 outboard with water pump problem

Hi, I just replaced the water pump impeller the Drive shaft seal that is located in the housing under it. Put it it all back together and pump is not pumping. Is there something I missed. Is it possible the little white plastic tube attached to the impeller housing that allows water going up to the engine could have fallen off? I know I'll have to pull it apart but thought someone may have had the same problem and could give me tips. Thanks Tim Joseph

Only two reasons why it would not pump, missing woodruff key or the water tube is not inserted to the water pump housing.

I agree with Jiggz... I would drop the lower unit, check the impeller to make sure the key is in the slots along the shaft and impeller. When you replace the lower unit, make sure the white tube is seated around the metal water tube. How long did you run it? My 125 hp takes a few seconds for the engine to start "peeing"...
