since this post began, I have learned to use a DVA adapter to test PP and stators. CDI electronics web site has a great trouble shooting guide in the support section. But as Jones said you still have not eliminated fuel problems, check carbs, do a visual on the carbs while running wide open and look for even spray pattern. also try pumping the bulb while WOT see if that makes a difference, if it does it shows a fuel restriction or bad fuel pump, I have found fuel pumps to be a very common problem on OMC motors, I dont know why they cant make one that really last like Yammy does. eliminate all fuel issues first then move on to ignition. check all lines and connections, if possible get a 6 gallon plastic gas and and a NEW fuel line and see if that makes any difference.
