1989 Mariner 25hp 2 stroke- gas oil ratio?

Hi all, I just bought a 1989 mariner 25hp 2 stroke. I'm wondering what the gas-oil ratio is. Thoughts?

For my 30 HP, 1982, it's 50:1 - almost certainly the same for yours. Probably not relevant for an '89, but, 25:1 for break-in.

25:1 is good. May smoke a very little bit but safer in an older engine.

Thanks guys! I was able to get my hands on an owners manual, which calls for 50:1.
