1989 Merc 5.7L spark plugs??

:confused:I figured that since I pulled my engine to do manifolds, risers, and a water pump I would do plugs and wires. I pulled out champions. Is this correct? What spark plugs should I use? This is my engine serial number 0C664458.

Champions are never the correct choice for a boat. Too many failures. They do seem to work OK for lawn mowers.

You need the AC-MR43T or NGK-BR6FS
Gapped at .035"

Thank you very much. Good to hear they hadn't failed they did rust badly though

Ayuh,... Standard plug wires are just Fine,...

Marine sets are generally much Longer than an automotive set, 'n many times the ends are different...
