1989 Sea Ray 200 BR Interior rebuild and new layout

I am at the point of rebuilding my old boats interior. Pics to come soon. I am removing the doghouse and reading with a sundeck similar to the 1989 SeaRay 160 Super Sport models.
Before the new seat layout goes in I want opinions on carpet and flooring. I want the flooring to be EVA foam but I wonder about the side walls. Recarpet or paint/gel coat white?

To gel the sides would take a bit more work than recarpeting, unless you are also replacing the floor. EVA will highlight any uneven spots in the floor, so get it as smooth as you can first.
