1990 120hp force compatable with a 1994 120hp force ?

Trying to find out if a 1990 120 hp Force has interchangable parts with a 1994 120 hp force. just purchased a 1994 bayliner with a 120 hp force that needs a new lower unit and has a few other issues, found a 1990 force on Craigslist with a bad piston I want to purchase for parts but want to make sure the parts are interchangable.

I'm sure a lot of the parts are interchangeable. For specifics, I'd go to "www . boats . net" as they have part #s and drawings for each model. You'll probably want to have the model number of the one for sale to confirm.
