I purchased a 1990 celebrity Engine # 0D395753 I thought was close to running condition, but after carb replacement, starter, coil, wires and plugs ,cap and rotor , and ignition sensor I have no spark. I am asking if someone might know how to 1 show a wire diagram for the tether safety switch it has four terminals only three are used and 1 terminal has a double purple it shows A,B on switch? Temporarily jumped to get 12 V to the coil. Although I have 12v at both terminals on coil I believe that's ok ? And I am not sure I wired it right , both green/ White wires 1 from module,1 from shifter safety switch connected the G/W to distributor Red/ W to module black grounded. the only wires on coil are two purple on pos , and two greys on neg . sorry to be long .

Your serial number comes up 1989 which is not unusual

With the safety switch having 2 purple wires on it means the switch is bypassed and will not work. The wires should be on pins which will disconnect power to coil when pulled. Jumping it to get power to the coil is not an issue

12V on both sides of coil is ok

This is how it should be wired
