New to site so thanks in advance.

I removed and cleaned the carburator on this motor but did not change any parts. when I went to start the motor after cleaning it would not fire. (it did before the cleaning) I sprayed starting fluid into carb and it started on first pull and ran with not problems after it warmed up. any ideas as to why it will not start when cold?

also any ideas where I can purchase a carbutator rebuild kit for this year motor?

Could be the idle mixture setting is too low. Check on the this site for the rebuilt kit or go to Boats.net

Not starting cold could be the float level is off.The carb needs recleaning, might be something stuck in the passages.
New plugs?Water in the fuel?

Looked at manual closer and found I did not have the throttle control lever adjusted correctly. Fixed that and it is running great. Thanks for replying.
