Asking this question again after another 10 years. Is it time to disable the automagic oiler and start using premix?. I've had this motor since 1990. Motor has about 600 hrs, 200salt 400 fresh. Had a few problems nothing major. All of my friends & mechanics are surprised that I haven't switched to premix. Am I living dangerously or is the oil mechanics no worse than anything else? I still like that convenience of automagic oiler. Maybe I"m the last man standing.
