Hello, im trying to wire the key/switch and the other wires from the throttle arm.

I attatched some photos as im really not sure what to say here other than what wire goes where?
On the back of the switch i see a S. C, A, M, B i have a Red wire, Yellow/red stripe, Purple/white stripe, Black and some others?

I have no idea what the thing is in the last picture, nor where it goes...looks like it could make a sound/alarm?

Thanks if you can help

I don't have a diagram but if you have a multimeter set to ohms:
emergency stop switch pulled= continuity between black/black w/yellow tracer
Key off =continuity between black/black w/yellow tracer
Key on=continutiy between (purple)red and purple
key on and start position=continuity between (purple)red and purple and yellow/red
key on while pushing in on key=continuity between (purple)red, purple and purple/white tracer
Here is a seloc picture but I don't see the enrichener circuit on it, but verify all circuits with ohmeter.

Re: 1990 evinrude 150hp help with wiring the switch?

After wiring up the ignition and kill switch i have a couple of more questions:

At the throttel/gear shift, there was the trim wires and another pair of wires that were seperate from the trim wires? They come out of the throttle box and look somewhat like a lamp or extension cord type of wire...i do not know where they go?
I also dont know where the 2 wires go that come out of the oil tank resevior?
I assume these run the pump if the oil tank has one or its a oil level indicator if you have the gage???Maybe?

Could these connect to each other?

I think those are your trim gauge wires...put ohm meter on these 2 wires and move trim sender up and down;should change. Trim gauge is on the tilt tube above PTT

The wires coming off your remote (boat) oil tank verify the float switch is working, put multimeter on those 2 wires, move float up and down;if resistance changes by moving the float it is meant for a gauge. If it is infinite continuity until the float drop almost all the way down to the bottom of the tank (then shows continuity) it is meant to be an alarm.
