I bought this boat with a 50hp force motor it runs fare.I know when its at idle it rpm should be at 1100 to1200 and if I but it in gear it should be at 750 to 800 rpm. What aim not sure of is the timing I don't think the timing is right. I need little help on knowing the timing set position .Then i would know for sure iam on the right track. It's a US Marine Power model 507X90D serial number 025071 I hope that over all to use this boat to go fishing with this coming year.

You need to get a manual and follow the steps exactly as given for a link & sync. This will cover all your timing, linkage and carb settings.
