Hoping someone can give me an idea on what is wrong. I have a 1990 johnson 48hp motor. Never had problems before, and the motor still looks and ran like brand new. The other day I pulled anchor and started down the river at a slow idle and my motor just quit. I pulled the plug wires and checked for spark. None. I then checked to see if I had power to the coil, did not have any. I thought it might be a pick-up coil, but they told me it had a power pack, sensor coil and ignition coil under they flywheel. The motor is on a pontoon boat, and someone mentioned the kill switch, but I don't think it has one. I was just wondering if anyone else might have an idea which one it would be. I don't really have the money to go buy $320.00 worth of parts. The power pack is the most expensive, so I guess I'll try the other two first.

Hope someone can help. Thanks for any in advance.
