My engine starts fine from cold start. The Quickstart kicks in and I am on my way...WOT. When I turn the engine off and sit in the water for greater than 5-10 minutes, the engine start fine. I attempt to go under a load and it stalls. Before it stalls, I move the control module to neutral, run the engine up to 2K - 3K rpm for about 1 minute, power down to neutral and then I can go without a problem. This problem started when I had a new fuel filter installed and a new primer bulb and fuel line was changed out. I then changed this new fuel line for another fuel line and primer bulb and added an anti siphon valve. Same problem...but did not change the new fuel filter. To note, I can also get it to go under a load by making 2 trips to the primer bulb and squeezing it...always 2 times. Strange? With my old fuel filter, the engine alarm was going off when the rpm was increased and turning off when the rpm is decreased. Than manual states that this is an indication of a dirty fuel filter and the alarm was going off because the engine is running lean and consequently over heating. Now I wonder if with the new few filter the engine is running too rich. Quite an enigma.
