Boat was running great all day long, all of a sudden it just shut off and won't get fire on any of the cylinders.
Kill switch?
Tyler: Go back and start with the simplest. Since the kill switch goes to ground to stop the engine you can not test it by jumping across it. To eliminate this and the ignition switch, Disconnect either the blue or white wires at the engine terminal. If your engine has a Mercury ignition, disconnect the black and yellow at the ignition switch and disconnect the jumper from it to the kill switch. If you can't do that, and it is Mercury ignition, since the engine will start and run with no controls attached, simply unplug the wiring harness inside the engine. Then jump the solenoid to crank it. If it starts and runs you know the problem is in the wiring between the engine and dashboard.
