Ill do this the best I can. I ordered a manual but I wont see it until Thursday and a fella wants to go fishing as it is above 40 here for the first time since October.

I took my boat out yesterday morning and everything was great. A little shudder out of the hole and then it flew and ran fine. Then I went back out in the afternoon and the beeper wouldn't shut off. It is a constant beep, beep. Is an intermittent beep not a an on going one. Doesnt matter how long the boat sits it just beeps. Boat runs fine, smokes and pumps water great. Just wont shut up.:)

Now this boat sat for 4 years not being used. I just picked it up on Friday and he started, and it fired up. It took a while but I am assuming that is the old gas even though he said there was always stabil put in the tank and he started it every year. The boat has a ton of power and the pee hole will throw water 50 feet. He also stated there is a new water pump impeller in the boat. Decent enough guy and I have no reason to doubt him.

This is my first newer motor so I really have no idea what these alarms are for. Thanks in advance for any help.

First make sure the engine is getting oil. Next look at the bottom of the oil tank and you will find 2 blue wires, disconnect them and the beeping should stop if it does, hook a OHM meter between the 2 wires and if there is oil in the tank and you have contiuity between the wires the float magnet has came loose, if thats the case the tank will need to be replaced. A final test is when you remove the tank hook the wires back to the OHM meter and turn the tank upside down and you won't have contiuity, If you unplug the tank wires ane the horn keeps beeping the oil module is bad.

Ok I dissconnected the wires and the beeping stopped. How can I be entirely sure I am getting oil in the motor? I ran it out of water and I am not seeing smoke anymore. I use the reccommended Quick Silver 2 stroke. I am used to premixed oil engines where they smoke like a mad man.

I followed the oil line off of the bottom of the tank to the black box deal where the fuel line and oil line meet. The tube there is full of oil, buit how can I be certain I am getting it into the engine. Hate like heck to wreck my engine.

Replace the tank and fill it to the very top run a couple of gal of premixsd fuel and see if the oil goes down in the tank.

Fair enough. I got a bit of smoke out of the prop when idling. When I rev it a bit I get more smoke. Ive been watching the tank and it looks to be down from when I filled it so I am assuming the oil is fine and it is just the sensor. I should have edited my above post. That was my mistake. I was looking for alot of smoke which I get with it revved a bit,

Do you know of a good place to order the tank assembly? I looked on here but cannot find it for some reason.
